HonkFest recently rolled through our neck of the woods; we were able to snap a shot of the commotion with a cell phone camera.

We also took the opportunity to capture the artistic talents of one of our fine baristas.

Wondering what that new TV is hanging on the wall in the Chai House? Well we recently installed a CoCollage in our shop, and we’re quite excited to watch it grow.

We’ll let them explain what it is:

CoCollage is a shared digital display for your community. It’s like a message board, slide show, and mini art gallery all rolled into one, full of stuff shared by you and the people around you. CoCollage is more than just the screen on the wall – the website provides a way to learn more about what you see on screen, and connect with the people you share a physical space with. Use the site to upload photos and quotes, tap into your existing albums on Flickr and Facebook, browse other members’ shared items, and comment and vote. You can even instant-message the screen!

Anyone can join in, too. Our baristas, you, our performers; it’s open to everyone. So head on over to their web site, and get started! We look forward to seeing what you have to share.

The Chai House web site has had a bit of a makeover, and we think you’ll enjoy the changes. In wanting to keep you up to date with all the happenings going on here at Chai House, we decided that a blog was in order.

All of the same content from before is still here, and can be found in the Main Menu on the left. We’ve also added a Map for helping you find us, a Menu, and an About section for learning a bit more about Chai House.
